Dedicated to enabling and promoting the highest quality standards in financial advisory practice, LIA also provides critical qualifications mandated by the Central Bank of Ireland and facilitates annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
LIA’s legacy LMS, heavily customized and built on SharePoint, struggled to support the diverse and growing training needs of its members. The system lacked scalability and flexibility, making it difficult to deliver non-academic CPD training, integrate quizzes, and provide personalized content packages based on membership levels.
Additionally, the manual processes for administering CPD hours were time-intensive and error-prone, involving separate systems for event tracking and reporting. This inefficiency put a strain on resources and created risks during peak demand periods, such as the year-end CPD deadline.
LIA implemented TopClass LMS, which seamlessly integrated with their existing LMS to handle CPD training, micro-credentialing, and other non-academic content delivery. LIA was able to create a branded portal, LIA Elevate, offering members an intuitive, user-friendly interface for accessing training content. Features such as automated processes and enhanced reporting capabilities significantly improved operational efficiency.
